Tuition Fees – Paid for Studies of
Deduction is available only of tuition fee paid for studies of children, moreover maximum of two children.
So, no deduction will be available for tuition fee paid for studies of self or for studies of spouse.

in India for full time education of any two children of an individual is eligible for deduction u/s 80C. But, the payment towards Development fees, Donation and payment of similar nature does not qualify for deduction u/s 80C.
Full Time Education
Deduction is available for full time education only. Full time education includes any educational course offered by any university/college to a student who is enrolled for full time course. It also includes
- Play School activities.
- Nursery classes.
The deduction for tuition fees u/s 80C is available upto Rs 1,00,000/- and this limit is the maximum limit in addition to section 80CCC(Pension policy) and section 80CCD(Contributory pension plans). It means the aggregate amount of deduction under above referred sections cannot exceed Rs.1,00,000/-.
In this section both parents (father & mother) will be entitled to deduction for two children each, as both husband & wife will have a separate limit of two children each.
