Role – Assistant Manager/Manager – Tax & Regulatory 

Qualification – CA / Semi–Qualified/Graduates/MCOM

Experience – Minimum 3  years of post-qualification experience ; MCOM/Semi-qualified – Minimum 5 years of experience

Location- Kolkata & Bengaluru

Job Roles –

  • 1. Supervising a team of executives involved in the maintenance of books of account in accounting software like Tally/Quickbooks, Zoho, or Quickbooks

  • 2. Independently managing clients and developing sound business relationshipsInvestor Reporting

  • 3. Driving automation and digitization of compliance

  • 4. Assisting Financial Due Diligence for startup fundraising from global investors

  • 5. Developing business models, financial projections, and valuation reports

  • 6. Payroll processing and suggesting ways to make the system efficient and introduce relevant controls

  • 7. Assist Cloud CFO practice – Preparation of Monthly MIS and other analytical reports etc

  • 8. Hands-on experience in Tally/Quickbooks/Zoho

  • 9. Preparation of financial statements and audit schedules as per India GAAP

  • 3. Utilise social platforms (Linkedin, Facebook, YouTube) as a force multiplier for attracting the best financial leaders and partner organizations.

  • 4. Provide support and coordinate the production of marketing materials such as brochures, banners, event materials, and corporate gifts

Job Roles –

  • 1. Grow and build a pipeline through cold prospecting outreach, calls and emails.

  • 2. Partner with your account executive team to help generate meetings.

  • 3. Attend prospect meetings with your sales team, and take notes.

  • 4. Create and prioritize target accounts and contact lists.

  • 5. Conduct high-level conversations and written correspondence with executives in prospect accounts.

  • 6. Work closely with Sales and Marketing on projects that help drive revenue growth.
  • 7. Achieve monthly quotas of meetings and qualified opportunities.

  • 1. Familiar with the Companies Act 2013 and Foreign Exchange Management Act and filing of several forms and reporting with RoC and RBI.

  • 2. Ability to interpret and understand Sections, Clauses, Notifications, Rules, Regulations, and Circulars of the Companies Act and Foreign Exchange Management Act.

  • 3. Ability to communicate with clients independently and assist them in solving their problems

  • 4. Ability to talk and understand the pain areas of the Founders, Entrepreneurs, and Leaders from C-Suite.

  • 5. Communicating effectively with the team internally and also with the team and representatives of clients.

  • 6. Take responsibility for building and living by the Brand TMG and drive people to create a larger impact and carry the baton of TMG in all possible platforms.

  • 7. Ability to take quick decisions.

Role – Investment Analyst in ProfitBoard Ventures, our Investment Banking wing

Qualification – Semi – Qualified / Graduates

Job Roles –

  • 1. Deal Evaluation: Conduct interdisciplinary evaluation of new investment opportunities, incl. business model analysis, competitor research, and due diligence. Review and analyze business models and financial models.
  • 2. Market Research: Research and evaluate companies active in DeepTech/B2B SAS/company thesis.

  • 3. Deal Execution: Modelling and valuation of investment opportunities, analysing, proposing, and conduct (sourcing through closing) new Venture Capital deals to the Investment Team and subsequently to the Investment Committee, assisting in all aspects of deal execution including market and financial due diligence and executing value creation plan

  • 4. Sourcing: Finding new startups/industries/domains to invest in and making the initial outreach review documentation and data rooms of potential targets, lead scouting and sourcing activities from the market

  • 5. Supporting existing portfolio companies as needed in various functions such as business development activities, strategic planning, fundraising etc. by coordinating with the team as well as an extensive network of advisors and industry experts
