If you were heaving a sigh of relief that finally one day more and you can finally start some work…then be prepared to bear the brunt of disappointment. As per the notification issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs earlier, the e-filings were temporarily suspended till 14^th April, 2014. This was due to the fact that the website was undergoing structural changes in the light of the Companies Act, 2013. The forms are getting revised to align them with the brand new provisions of the new Act.   But now,it has been notified that MCA to resume e-filings from 28th April instead of 14th April,2014.

 

However, it seems that the ride is not that smooth either. Neither for the department, nor for the start-ups waiting for their business to kick- start. The MCA has issued a recent notification dated 12^th April, 2014, published in the Official Gazette. By way of this notification, the department notified that the e-filings which were supposed to resume from 14^th April, 2014, will now resume from 28^th April, 2014.

 

Hence, we have long wait in front of us before we can resume our working. The said notification has caused quite a stir among the start-ups. However, all we can say is that the bigger picture here is worth our wait. Find below the notification: Notification from MCA
