Due Date for filing LLP Form 11 extended 

 

The due date for filing Form 11 for LLP annual return for FY 2015-16 has finally been extended. Ministry of Corporate Affairs through General Circular No. 07 dated 31.05.2016 has extended the due date for filing of the Form Form 11 for FY 2015-16 has been extended upto 30^th June 2016.

 

The due date for filing of Form 11 with the Registrar of Companies (ROC) under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) was 30^th May, 2016. However, there were several technical issues with the forms and the filing portal of MCA, restricting the filings of the same. 

Considering the burden of additional fees levied on the LLPs  (Rs. 100 per day), this extension is indeed a welcome one.

Along with the same, keeping in view requests received from various stakeholders, it has been decided to extend the period for which the one time waiver of additional fees is applicable to all eforms which are due for filing by companies between 25.O3.2O16 to 30.06.2016 as well as extend the last date for filing such documents and availing the benefit of waiver to 10.07.2016.
