The Game Changer put on Hold!

CBDT on the 24th of January issued an order stating a change in the PAN Card application procedure. People around the country were in awe. Some believed it to be a step back in the strengthening world of technology whereas some took this change as a positive action by the CBDT for digging up Black Money.

There were various questions raised by the competent professionals on the new procedure. Regarding numerous problems that would arise for the people in the rural areas, non-residents etc.

Finally giving thought to these problems the CBDT, has put the implementation of the new procedure on hold till further notice. For now the online procedure would sustain.
